Positions for which we may have openings include:
Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance. Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.
Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.
Assistants are responsible for animal handling and restraint, assisting the veterinarians & technicians with procedures, taking patient histories, cleaning, setting up and running laboratory tests, client communication and education, admitting and discharging patients, financial transactions, and exam room, laboratory, and pharmacy area maintenance.
Kennel staff are responsible for the care, treatment, and comfort of our boarding animals (mostly cats & dogs but can occasionally include rats, rabbits, iguanas, or birds). Duties include feeding, walking, and exercising the animals in our care. Administering medications as indicated by owners and the veterinarians. Bring animals to and from the kennel during check-in and check-out times. Cleaning up after animals both inside the facility and outside, and cleaning animal runs and cages as needed. Maintain the kennel area by performing tasks including, but not limited to, sweeping/mopping floors, wiping counters, taking out trash, cleaning bathrooms, and checking equipment and supplies. Kennel staff must be available on weekends and holidays to tend to boarding animals.
